 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

1) SI (Workshop): Candidates should have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent OR Three years Diploma in Mechanical, Marine or Automobile Engineering from a recognized University or institution.

2) SI (Master): Candidates should have completed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board or University and should have a second class Master Certificate issued by Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile marine Department.

3) SI (Engine driver): Candidates should have completed 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognized board or University and should have a First class Master Certificate issued by Central or State Inland Water Transport Authority or Mercantile marine Department.

4) HC (Master): Candidates should have completed Matriculation recognized Board or University or equivalent and should have Serang Certificate.

5) HC (Engine Driver): Candidates should have completed Matriculation recognized Board or University or equivalent and should have second class Engine Driver certificate.

6) HC (Work Shop): Candidates should have completed Matriculation recognized  Board or University or equivalent and have Industrial Training Instituted Diploma in Motor Mechanic (Diesel/Petrol engine) Machinist/Welder/ carpentry/ Electrician/ Filter/ Air conditioner Technician/ Electronic/Plumbing/Upholstering/ Painting from a recognized institution)

7) CT (Crew): Candidates should have completed Matriculation recognized Board or University orequivalent. The candidate should have one years of experience in operating a boat below 265 HP and know swimming and a certificate for swimming from a recognized authority.

1) SI (Workshop): PB-2 (9300- 34800) plus GP Rs4200

2) SI (Master): PB-2 (9300- 34800) plus GP Rs 4200

3) SI (Engine driver): PB-2 (9300- 34800) plus GP Rs 4200

4) HC (Master): BP-1 (5200- 20200) plus GP Rs 2400

5) HC (Engine Driver) : BP-1 (5200- 20200) plus GP Rs 2400

6) HC (Work Shop): BP-1 (5200- 20200) plus GP Rs 2400

7) CT (Crew): PB-1 (5200- 20200) plus GP Rs 2000
